Dialectical Thinking in the Humanities

Hegel

Chairs: Jess Keiser, Robert Lehman, Samantha Matherne

Every academic year, the Dialectical Thinking in the Humanities seminar hosts a weekly reading group on a work relevant to our theme. This year we are reading Adorno/Horkheimer's Dialectic of Enlightenment alongside various works in aesthetics (by Lukacs, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, and Wollheim). We meet Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. (usally on Zoom) to discuss. All are welcome to the reading group -- no matter what level of knowledge. If you would like to join our reading group, please email one of the seminar organizers.
