Postdoctoral Fellows Seminar

Spring 2024: Seminar on Environmental Humanities

This seminar series gives the Mahindra Humanities Center Postdoctoral Fellows the opportunity to present their work to their cohort as well as faculty, graduate students, and community members from Harvard and beyond. The spring semester seminars are open to the public. Details and registration for each seminar can be found below.

The current focus of the postdoctoral fellowship program is the topic of the environmental humanities, drawn from any humanistic discipline. We interpret the environmental humanities in the broadest terms, to include all parts of the world and historical eras. Topics may include (but are not limited to) humanistic approaches to climate change, biodiversity, social justice, environmental justice, food justice, regenerative practices, gardening, landscape, urban foraging, health, and animal studies.
